Anxiety
Anxiety Treatment

I offer personalised support for anxiety, in time, helping you regain control and find relief. Anxiety is a natural response designed to keep us safe, but sometimes the alarm system gets turned up too high, making it feel overwhelming and all-consuming.  When this happens, anxiety can bleed into all areas of life, affecting work, relationships, and overall well-being. Through a compassionate and empathic approach, we will work together to understand the root causes of anxiety and provide tailored therapeutic interventions to help restore balance and resilience.

Depression
Depression Therapy

Integrative psychotherapy offers a personalised approach to treating depression by combining techniques from various therapeutic models to address the unique challenges you face. I not only focus on cognitive symptoms such as negative thought patterns and beliefs but also consider the emotional, behavioral, and physical aspects that contribute to depression.  By blending methods like humanistic approaches, cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, psychodynamic exploration, and schema therapy to unroot entrenched, unhelpful thoughts and feeling patterns, I work with you to develop effective coping strategies and boost self-awareness. This tailored approach supports a gradual shift toward healthier emotional regulation and ultimately paves the way for a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Relationships
Low Self Esteem and Self Worth

I offer compassionate support for those struggling with low self-esteem and self-worth. Self-esteem naturally fluctuates, but when it stays low, especially alongside a deep sense of unworthiness, it can become truly debilitating, affecting relationships, work and mood.  Negative self-perceptions can feel ingrained, shaped by past experiences, comparisons, or unhelpful beliefs picked up along the way, and many are unconscious. But change is possible. Through guided exercises that don’t just rely on changing your thoughts but rather on accessing how you feel, I will try to help you identify and challenge these deep-rooted patterns, explore their true value, and build a more compassionate, confident relationship with yourself one step at a time.

Couples Therapy
Trauma Recovery

Trauma comes in all shapes and forms and can profoundly impact our daily functioning and mental and emotional well-being, yet an integrated approach can pave the way to healing.  I combine visualisation techniques, therapeutic conversation, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you reprocess traumatic memories safely.  I promise to go at your pace, and together, we will work out how to create a safe mental sanctuary where difficult experiences can be integrated and reframed.  EMDR works to reduce the intensity of traumatic memories, enabling your mind to re-process and heal. Together, these methods support a transformative journey toward recovery, helping you move toward a more content and balanced way of being.

Trauma
Deep Rooted Negative Patterns

Psychotherapy can help shift maladaptive schemas, deeply entrenched patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving developed early in life that can adversely shape our emotional experiences. In our work together, I focus on identifying these schemas and gently challenging them through integrative techniques, such as schema therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and mindfulness.  For example, the "vulnerability to harm" schema may trigger chronic anxiety by constantly anticipating danger, while the "defectiveness/shame" schema can undermine self-esteem by making you feel fundamentally unworthy.  Similarly, the "failure" schema might fuel depressive feelings by instilling a persistent belief that you will never succeed.  By addressing these core patterns, therapy paves the way for more adaptive, balanced perspectives, leading to improved emotional well-being and healthier relationships.

Sessions and Costs
Length of sessions and cost

The number of sessions we have will be decided collaboratively based on your needs and goals. However, if you’ve been thinking, feeling, and behaving in certain ways for a long time, it’s unlikely that just a few sessions will create lasting change. Meaningful transformation takes commitment, openness, and a willingness to do the work. By developing new skills and fostering a healthier relationship with yourself and those around you, therapy can help you navigate life with greater ease and intention. Ultimately, the goal is for you to no longer need me so you can go out, embrace life, and ride its waves with more choice and less reactivity.

Sessions range from £55 to £90 depending on the treatment protocol, with concession rates available for those on benefits or receiving a state pension.
